Fast and convenient to Klagenfurt Airport

Due to its central location, Klagenfurt Airport is easily accessible. Located on the northern outskirts of the provincial capital of Klagenfurt, the airport is in close proximity to both public transportation and the A2 highway.

Once at the airport, all areas such as parking, arrivals, departures, catering or even the car rental terminal are easily accessible via short distances.

from Vienna or Graz

Freeway A2 in the direction of Italy - leave the freeway at the exit Klagenfurt Flughafen   and follow the signs. The airport is only about 1 km from the Klagenfurt Airport exit.

from Salzburg, Udine or Villach

Take the A2 freeway in the direction of Vienna - leave the freeway at the Klagenfurt Airport exit and follow the signs. The airport is only about 600 m away from the Klagenfurt Airport exit. (Attention: The lane to the exit to Klagenfurt Airport already starts in the Ehrentalerbergtunnel).

At Klagenfurt Airport, there are approximately 200 parking spaces available to passengers and visitors in parking lots 1 and 2. No advance reservation is necessary/possible.

Line 4

The bus stop at Klagenfurt Airport is located directly opposite the arrivals hall.

Line 4 connects the airport with the city center and Klagenfurt's main train station.

ÖBB Stop Annabichl

By S-Bahn (line S1), Klagenfurt Airport is only 5 minutes away from Klagenfurt main station. The S-Bahn stop "Klagenfurt Annabichl" is within walking distance (7 minutes walking time) from the terminal building of the airport.

Klagenfurt is located on the Südbahn line (regular service in the direction of Vienna & Bruck/Mur). From the north, Klagenfurt can be reached by the Tauernbahn (regular service in the direction of Salzburg & Villach).

ÖBB Transfer: Airport to Klagenfurt main station

ÖBB Transfer is a mobility service that complements rail journeys with a connecting taxi/shuttle service, allowing passengers to reach their destination directly and conveniently with a single ticket. This provides a direct connection from Klagenfurt Central Station to Klagenfurt Airport.

The service can be booked together with the train ticket via the ÖBB Ticketshop, the Wegfinder app, or by phone at +43 4242 42000 24 (daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.). Bookings must be made by 8:00 p.m. on the day before travel.

The journey is organised as an integrated “last-mile” solution, with everything combined in one ticket – from arrival at Klagenfurt Central Station to the final destination at Klagenfurt Airport or the departure hall.
